SUMMER NEWS 2013: JUNE 8 :: i will be participating in highpoint center for printmaking‘s annual open portfolio event from 1:30-3 (the event runs from 1:30-7pm). this event is free and open to the public. come look at prints and meet their makers! JUNE 15-JULY 27 :: two prints from the FLYOVER series will be part of CIRCLE WORKS, an exhibition of work by cave paper founders, amanda degener and bridget o’malley, along with studio assistant james kleiner and former cave interns. on view at the morgan conservatory in cleveland, ohio. SUMMER CLASSES AT THE MINNESOTA CENTER FOR BOOK ARTS. the schedule is out now! i will be teaching two classes in july: carve your own stamps! and intermediate relief printing. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ MAY 2-30, 2013 :: FLYOVER is on view in the kerredge gallery at the copper country community art center in hancock, michigan. closing reception thursday, may 30. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ APRIL 4, 2013 :: LIFE-SIZED BOOK PROJECT opens! 7-11 pm at chowgirls parlor 1222 second st. ne, minneapolis. this winter, i collaborated with artshare northeast, the northeast library, and papermaker bridget o’malley to produce a series of community book-making workshops. see the finished product and some of my newest prints. APRIL 5, 2013 :: FLYOVER opens! 4-8 pm at the macrostie art center, grand rapids, minnesota MARCH 22, 2013 :: the university of wisconsin-milwaukee has acquired THE GREAT LAKES OF NORTH AMERICA, yippeeee!!! __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ MARCH 7-APRIL 28, 2013 :: D.I.Y.
