There is no getting around the fact that we need money to live. But when I can, I like to exchange artwork for goods or services I want or need.
Things I am currently interested in trading for:
Vacation lodging in a warm place in the winter months (Jan-April)
Professional photography and videography
Massage, acupuncture, or similar
Artwork and handcrafted goods, especially ceramics and handwoven textiles
CSA membership: vegetables, meat, or similar (local to Minneapolis, MN)
Website content development and copywriting
